Job description

To provide Pre-Sales Technical Support to IBM and Business Partners on the following products; Power, Storage and System z.
Analyze customers' business environment, and develop best solution for customers, based on customers' requirements and IT budget. Setup Server/Storage system to perform POC or Benchmarking.

The Pre-Sales Technical Sales Support is to provide support to the following areas:

Capacity Planning and sizing
Design initial solutions and provide value add recommendations
Provide product technical information
Provide competitive product positioning
Perform configurations
Technical Assurance on Configurations
Perform ISV sizing on hardware servers

Language Requirements

English: Fluent in both verbal and written communication

Education Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology

Desired experience:

1-2 years working experience on hardware server products in a Pre-Sales or Post Sales environment is a plus.
Have drive and self motivation for technical knowledge and passion to setup Server/Storage system to perform POC or Benchmarking'.

Technical Skills requirement:

Good System Hardware server skills on Intel or Unix servers
Knowledge of Windows and/or Unix/Linux Operating Systems
Well versed with Microsoft suite of products like, excel, PowerPoint and word doc.
Knowledge on IBM Hardware products would be a plus
